There’s a quote from Henry Jenkins in the presentation that is worth taking the time to think about – IMO this is one of the key things to understand about the world of digital.
“Our focus should be not on emerging technologies, but on emerging cultural practices.”
A nice ambient campaign from the IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) highlighting illegal souvenir trading by placing 200 cardboard turtles on the beach at Bournemouth.
Incidentally, this is the same charity that created the wonderful spoof of Cadbury’s Gorilla ad.
